An introduction to the craft of Lost Wax Casting
Sunday, 3rd December - 3-6pm
Within a three-hour workshop at AMK Atelier Amsterdam, you’ll learn how to make jewellery through lost wax casting. After an introduction to the process, you’ll experiment with different waxes and tools to craft a wax design for a ring, earring or any other sculpture. You’ll leave with a finished wax design ready to be cast in fine metal and a toolkit to continue crafting at home. But more so, you’ll take home the knowledge of how to master an ancient craft for independent practice in the future. A variety of snacks/drinks will also be provided.
